One fine rifle truely amazed with the knock down power of this rife and cartridge.Wood could be better but that wasn''t enough to make me look any further. Excellent machine work which is reflected in accuracy.

I own one of the Marlin .444xlr rifles topped with a Leupold Vari X II 3x9x40 scope. Although I am an avid cartridge reloader I tried the Hornady LEVERevolution .444 ammo in my new rifle and it shoots sub 1 inch 3 shot groups all day long at 100 yards. So, as it stands I don't see the need to reload for this particular rifle considering the level of consistent accuracy I get with the excellent Hornady LEVERevolution ammo. Hornady has definitely done their homewaork with the LEVERevolution line of ammo, my son's shoot the .30-30 offering and I shoot the .444 offering.
I've taken 2 white tail deer so far with my .444, both 1 shot kills at ~80 and ~100 yards. I can't wait to harvest some wild hogs with the .444, I have no doubts that it will perform exceptionally well.
